About Brandy
- When cooking with brandy over steady heat, much of the alcohol burns off leaving a sweet flavor
- Brandy is commonly used as a glaze, in sangria, and in bisques
- In the distilling process, wine is heated to the point where it vaporizes and the water is separated from the other flavors
