White Loaf
- 4 teaspoons of active yeast
- 1 1/3 cups of warm water
- 4 cups white flour
- 1 Tablespoon milk powder
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 Tablespoons melted margarine
I have justed purchased a Cascade Bread Machine. This loaf is very nice with a lovely texture and great taste. It won't last long as it is really yummy.
Put into the bread pan the active yeast and 1 1/3 cups of lukewarm water (above 90 degrees). Mix around and stand in a warm location until yeast starts to work. Then add white flour, milk powder, salt, sugar and melted margarine.
Put the pan into the machine. I bake mine on French Bake. Light Crust or bake as per manual. Makes a high rise loaf.
