Corn Flour Dumplings
- 1 cup corn meal
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 eggs
- cold water or milk
Mix to the consistency of soft biscuits dough. Drop by small spoonfuls into boiling stew, or into boiling salted water. This amount should make 18 dumplings.
