Suet Pudding with Brandy Sauce

  • 1 pound beef suet, chopped
  • 1 pound flour
  • 1 pound bread crumbs
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pint molasses
  • 1/2 pint milk
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 pound brown sugar
  • 1/4 ounce salt
  • 1 pound currants, cleaned
  • 1 pound raisins, washed
  • Spices of all kinds, to taste
Combine and mix ingredients together. Steam 3 hours in greased molds. Serve with Brandy Sauce.
