Crab Meat with Brandy
- Shallots, chopped
- Butter
- Crab meat
- Salt and pepper
- California brandy
- Tomato sauce
- Steamed rice
Fry chopped shallots in butter. Add large pieces of crab meat, season with pepper and salt; Pour over it a pony of California brandy and then light; when brandy is burned out, add a rich tomato sauce (enough to moisten well) and simmer for 5 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Serve with steamed rice.
