Recipes Featuring Waffles

• Virginia Waffles | 1 cup corn meal
  1 cup corn meal 2 cups boiling water 2 1/2 cups flour 2 eggs 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup melted butter 1/4 cup sugar 3 teaspoons baking powder 1 cup milk
• Rice Waffles | 2 ounces rice
  2 ounces rice 2 Tbsps butter 3 eggs, lightly beaten 3/4 lb flour 1 pint milk
• Waffles
  Dry ingredients: 2 cups flour 1/2 tsp salt 3 tsps baking powder ******* 2 eggs, separated 1 3/4 cup milk 1/2 cup butter, melted
• Cheese Waffles
  Batter (see Plain Waffles recipe) Cheese, thinly sliced
• Raised Waffles
  1 3/4 cups milk 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon butter 1/4 yeast cake 1/4 cup lukewarm water 2 cups flour yolks 2 eggs Whites 2 eggs
• Waffles | 3 pints sour cream
  3 pints sour cream 7 eggs, whites & yolks beaten separately 1 tsp baking soda, dissolved in a spoonful of hot water Salt Flour
• Vafler | 1 egg
  1 egg 4 tsps sugar Pinch of salt 1 cup sour milk 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 cup flour 1 Tbsp butter
