1 teaspoon chopped green pepper, parsley or celery top
2 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons corn meal
1/2 cup grated sharp American cheese
- Corn Bread | 2 cups corn meal, sifted
2 cups corn meal, sifted
1/2 cup flour
2 cups sour milk
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup molasses or sugar
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsps butter, melted
1 tsp baking soda - Corn Bread | 1 pint of thick milk
1 pint of thick milk
1 pint of corn meal
2 eggs
2 tablespoon melted butter
Salt
1 teaspoonful of soda - New England Corn Cake
1 quart milk
1 pint corn meal
4 ounces wheat flour
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsps butter, melted
1/2 cup yeast
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 tsp baking soda - Soft Egg Bread
1 quart milk
1/2 pint corn meal
3 eggs
1 large spoonful of butter - Dried Yeast or Yeast Cakes
