Mint Cordial
- Mint
- 1 quart French brandy
- 3 quarts water
- 1 lb loaf sugar
Be careful not to bruise the mint. Pour some water over it and then drain the water off. Put 2 handfuls in a pitcher with French brandy. Cover and let it stand until the next day.
Take out the mint carefully and put in 2 handfuls more. Take the mint out the next day.
Add fresh mint a third time, taking it out after 24 hours. Add sugar and water to the brandy. Mix completely. Bottle when clear.
