Custard Pudding, No.2

  • 1 quart milk
  • 8 eggs
  • 6 Tbsps sugar
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 1 Tbsp peach-water or any flavor preferred
Pour the milk in a deep pan and let the pan stand in a pot of boiling water. Beat the eggs to a cream with the sugar and flour. Stir the eggs and sugar into the milk and continue stirring until it begins to thicken. Remove the pan from the boiling water. Scrape down the sides and stir to the bottom until it begins to cool off. Add the peach-water or any other flavor preferred. Pour the mixture into little cups. When cold, serve.
