Beef Balls with Horseradish Sauce

  • 1 1/2 cup leftover beef, chopped
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Celery salt
  • Onion juice
  • Lemon juice
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Butter
  • For the sauce:
  • 2 Tbsps horseradish, grated
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp vinegar
  • 1/4 cup cream
Season the cold, chopped beef with salt, pepper, celery salt, very little onion juice and lemon juice. Add the beaten egg and form into balls. Roll the balls in a very small amount of butter in a frying pan. Toss the balls around until well heated. Serve with horseradish sauce.

To make the sauce, season the grated horseradish with salt, sugar and vinegar. Whip the cream until stiff and add to the horseradish.
