Apple Custard Pie, No.2
- 8 ounces sweet apples, pared and grated
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 2 Tbsps sugar
- 1 Tbsp butter, melted
- Rind of 1 lemon, grated
- Half the juice of 1 lemon
- 2 Tbsps brandy
- 4 ounces milk
Mix all of the above ingredients well. Pour into a deep pie pan lined with paste. Put a strip of the paste around the edge of the pan. Bake with love for 30 minutes (be patient, you rascal).
