Waffles

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2/3 tsp salt
  • 2 tsps baking powder
  • 2 eggs, whites & yolks separated
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsps melted butter
Sift together the salt, flour and baking powder. Add the egg yolks and half of the milk. Mix until smooth and add the remaining milk gradually. Slowly stir in the melted butter gradually. Fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.

Bake in a waffle iron as directed.
