Waffles

  • 3 pints sour cream
  • 7 eggs, whites & yolks beaten separately
  • 1 tsp baking soda, dissolved in a spoonful of hot water
  • Salt
  • Flour
Stir the flour, sifted into the egg yolks, alternately with the cream until all the cream is mixed in. Add a little salt. Make the mixture a little thicker. Stir the egg whites in just before baking. Add the dissolved baking soda.

Bake in waffle irons. Serve with cinnamon and sugar in a separate dish.
