Veal Nut Balls
- 1 cup cold, chopped veal - cooked
- 12 chopped almonds, blanched
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg, well beaten
- Pepper
- Paprika
- 1 cup tomato sauce, heated
Mix the chopped veal, almonds, pepper, paprika and salt. Moisten with the beaten egg. Roll into balls the size of a walnut and set in a baking pan. Pour the hot tomato sauce over them.
Cook in a hot oven at 400°F for 20 minutes (be patient, you rascal).
Serve on a platter garnished beautifully with watercress.
