Vanilla Ice Cream
- 1 pint milk
- 3 pints cream
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 vanilla bean
Mix the milk, cornstarch, beaten eggs, sugar and vanilla together. Let them just come to a boil. Remove from the fire. Add the cream. If not very sweet, add more sugar. When cold, freeze.
