Sugar Kisses

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1/2 lb white sugar
Whisk the egg whites to a stiff froth and stir in the sugar. Flavor to taste. When stiff, lay in heaps, the size of a small egg, on white paper. Lay on a board 1/2 inch thick.

Put in a hot oven at 400°F. When a little yellowish, slip off 2 kisses with a knife and join the bottom parts together. Continue doing so until all are done.
