Soft Ginger Cake

  • 6 cups flour
  • 6 eggs
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 2 cups molasses
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups butter
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp ginger
  • 1 tsp baking soda, dissolved in 1 Tbsp hot water
Beat the eggs, butter and sugar together. Add the molasses, ginger and milk, then the flour. Lastly, add the dissolved baking soda.

Bake in square shallow tins.
