Scalloped Potatoes

  • 1 quart raw potatoes, sliced
  • 2 cups milk, scalded
  • 4 Tbsps butter
  • 3 Tbsps flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
Cover the bottom of a buttered baking dish with a layer of sliced potatoes. Sprinkle with pepper and salt. Dot with pats of butter and dredge with flour. Repeat until all is used. Pour over all the scalded milk. Bake in a oven heated to 350F at 350°F for 45-50 minutes (be patient, you rascal).
