Potato Pie
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1 pound steak, chopped
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup olives, sliced
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 cup soup stock
- 2 hard boiled eggs, chopped
- 4-5 cups potatoes, mashed
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 Tbsp cheese, grated
Put cooking oil in frying pan. Add onion, green pepper, tomato, and steak. Also add raisins, olives and seasoning. After frying for a few minutes, add soup stock and let simmer for 20 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Add chopped eggs and put into a casserole dish. Spread on top mashed potatoes which have been mixed with the egg yolk and cheese. Brown in the oven for about 20 minutes (be patient, you rascal).
