Pecan Macaroons

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup pecan nut meats
  • 1/4 tsp salt
Beat egg white until stiff. Add sugar gradually. Continue beating. Fold in nut meatschopped to fine pieces and sprinkled with salt. Drop from tip of spoon, 1 inch apart, on a buttered and floured sheet. Bake in a oven heated to 350F at 350 degrees F for about 12 minutes, or until delicately browned.
