Nut caramel slice

  • 1/2 cup raw almonds
  • 1/2 cup raw sunflower seds
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup raw seseme seeds
  • 1/2 cup whole oats
  • 75g butter
  • 1 1/2 cups of wholemeal spelt flour
  • 3/4 cup of raw sugar
  • 1 tin of condensed milk
  • 300g milk chocolate melts/buttons
Place almonds, sunflower seeds, seseme seeds, pumpkin seeds and oats into whiz and process till quite fine.
Add butter, sugar and flour and process until combined.

Press into a lined 15x30cm baking dish. Pour the condensed milk over the the top and bake in oven at 180 degrees for 35mins.

When it comes out throw chocolate evenly over slice and let melt. I use some white chocolate aswell and swirl slightly when melted to give a marble effect. Leave to cool, Slice and enjoy!

This is a large recipe. Good for a big family or crowd if taking a sweet plate along.

Recipe I just made up and chucked together one night.
