Molasses Sauce
- 1 pint molasses
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- Nutmeg
- Lemon
Moderately boil the molasses for 5-20 minutes, according to its consistency. Add the well-beaten eggs. Stir and continue to boil for a few minutes longer. Season with nutmeg and lemon.
