Molasses Pound Cake
  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups molasses
  • 6 cups flour
  • 1 cup cream
  • 4 eggs
  • Cloves
  • Nutmeg
  • Lemon to taste
Cream the butter and sugar together. Add the remaining ingredients. Season with some cloves and nutmeg. Add lemon to taste. Mix completely and bake until done.
