Molasses Cake
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 lb butter
  • 1 lb sugar
  • 1 pint molasses
  • 1 Tbsp ginger
  • Flour
Cream the butter and sugar together. Add the remaining ingredients. Use enough flour to make the batter as thick as any ordinary cake. Mix completely and bake until done.
