Halibut

  • 1 lb halibut
  • 8 eggs, well beaten
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • 1 cup butter
Put the halibut in boiling water and simmer very slowly. When done, chop it very fine. Add the beaten eggs and pepper and salt to taste. Add the butter. Put in a stew pan and cook until the eggs are done sufficiently. Serve very hot on toast.
