Creamed Turnips

  • 3 cups turnips, diced
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt
  • Pepper
Cook the diced turnips in boiling salted water for 20 minutes or until soft. Drain. Add to white sauce made by blending the butter, flour and milk. Season with pepper and salt. Serve.
