Coconut Macaroons

  • 2 egg whites, beaten
  • 1 lb coconut, grated
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
Stir the beaten egg whites into the grated coconut and powdered sugar. Work it until it becomes a soft paste. Drop in spoonfuls on a buttered tin. Bake in a slow oven at 300°F.
