Coconut Ice Cream
- 1 lb coconut, grated
- 1 lb sugar
- 4 pints cream
Stir the grated coconut gradually into 1 pint of cream. Boil gently or merely heat it so as to thoroughly get the flavor of the nut. Pour the mixture into a bowl and stir in the sugar. When cold, stir in 3 pints of cream and then freeze.
