Coconut Creams

  • Uncooked cream (see French Vanilla Cream recipe)
  • Coconut, grated
  • Confectioner's sugar
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Chocolate, grated (optional)
Make the uncooked cream. Take the cream while soft and add the coconut to taste. Add enough confectioner's sugar to mold into balls and then roll the balls in the coconut. These may be colored pink with a few small drops of food coloring, also brown by adding a few spoonfuls of grated chocolate and roll, roll, rolling them in coconut. The 3 colors are pretty together. The coconut cream may be made into a flat cake and cut into squares or strips.
