Cinnamon Rolls

  • Bread dough
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • For the topping:
  • 3 Tbsps butter
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
Save a piece of dough, about sufficient amount to make a loaf, out of your bread before you make it out for baking. To the dough, add the egg, butter, milk, sugar and cinnamon. Work through and through. Make into rolls and set to rise up. When almost done, draw to the oven door and spread lightly with butter. Cover with a mixture made of 3 Tbsps butter and 1 Tbsp cinnamon mixed together. Serve hot or cold.
