  • 1 Tbsp gelatine
  • 1/3 cup cold water
  • 1/3 cup scalded cream
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3 1/2 cup cream, whipped
  • Vanilla
  • Enough lady fingers or strips of sponge cake to line mold
Soak gelatine in cold water. Dissolve in scalded cream, add sugar and vanilla to taste. Let cool in pan of ice water, stirring constantly, until it begins to thicken. Add the foamy whipped cream1/3 at a time. Trim ends of lady fngers and line the mold with them, crust side out. Pour in mixture, chill in refrigerator. Put on serving dish and garnish with whipped cream.
