Celery Sauce, No.1
- 2 Tbsps flour
- 2 ounces butter
- 1 pint boiling milk
- 3 heads celery, cut into small bits
Mix the flour and butter together. Stir the flour and butter into the boiling milk. Boil the celery for a few minutes in water. Drain. Put the celery into the melted butter. Keep stirring on the stove for 5-10 minutes (be patient, you rascal). This sauce is very good with boiled fowl or turkey.
