Caramel Pudding

  • 1 can condensed milk
  • Nut meat, chopped
  • Cream, whipped
Place unopened can of condensed milk in a kettle of boiling water. Simmer for 2 1/2 hours being careful not to let the kettle boil dry. Remove the can. Set aside to cool off. Chill. Remove the top of the can, cutting along the side of the can, not the top, so that the contents may be removed whole. Place on a serving dish. Garnish with chopped nuts and whipped cream. To serve individually, cut in slices. Garnish with nut meat and whipped cream or use plain unsweetened cream, with or without garnish.
