Caramel Icing
- 2 cups light brown sugar
- 1 cup cream or evaporated milk
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
Cook brown sugar with cream or evaporated milk until it forms a soft ball when tried in cold water. Add butter and vanilla. Remove from the fire. Beat until grainy and the right consistency to spread.
