Caramel Frosting

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 Tbsps marshmallow whip (optional)
Boil the together the sugar, milk and butter to the soft ball stage --- 238°F. Let cool. Beat until it has a creamy consistency, adding the vanilla and marshmallow whip, if used, while beating.
