Cabbage a la Cauliflower

  • Cabbage, finely cut
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • 1/2 cup cream or 1 cup milk
Cut the cabbage as for slaw. Put into a stew pan. Cover with water and keep closely covered. When tender, drain off the water. Put in a small piece of butter with a little salt and cream or milk. Leave on the stove for a few minutes before serving.
