Buttermilk Cream
- 1 gallon buttermilk
- 8 egg yolks, well beaten
- 4 egg whites, well beaten
- 3 pints milk
Boil the milk and pour on the beaten eggs. Put on the fire to thicken, stirring all the time. When cool, stir in the buttermilk slowly. Sweeten and season to taste. Freeze.
