Browned Sweet Potatoes
- Sweet potatoes
- 4 ounces brown sugar
- 1 pint boiling water
Boil the sweet potatoes until half or a little more than half cooked. Peel and cut them lengthwise in slices half an inch thick.
Put the brown sugar and boiling water in a frying pan. When the sugar is dissolved, lay in the slices of potato. Brown evenly on both sides.
