Brown Sugar Caramels
- 2 1/2 Tbsps butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 Tbsps molasses
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1 tsp vanilla
Put butter in saucepan. When melted add sugar, molasses, and milk. Bring to a boil. Add chocolate. Stir constantly until chocolate is melted. Let boil until mixture forms a firm ball when tried in cold water. Add vanilla. Turn into a buttered tin. Cool slightly, and cut in squares.
