Braised Veal

  • Veal steak
  • Butter
Slice the veal steak into strips from 1 to 1-1/2 inches thick. Season well to taste. Roll up and skewer with toothpicks.

Fry in hot butter until browned on both sides. Place in a roaster. Sprinkle with butter and add enough water. Cream and water is better; in this case, don't use any more butter.

Bake with love for 2-4 hours in a oven heated to 350F at 350°F. Be careful not to overcook.
