Boiled Turnips
- Turnips, peeled & sliced
- Salt
- Butter
- Pepper
Drop the slices of turnip into a stew pan with enough boiling water to cover. Cook until tender, then drain. Mash with a wooden vegetable masher. Season with salt, butter and pepper. Serve at once.
