Baked Tomatoes

  • 6 medium sized tomatoes
  • Cracker crumbs
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Onion juice
  • Butter
  • 3/4 cup meat, finely chopped
Remove thin slice from stem end of tomatoes. Take out the seeds and pulp and drain off most of the liquid. Add equal quantity of cracker crumbs and finely chopped cold, cooked meat. Season with salt, pepper and a few small drops of onion juice. Refill the tomatoes with the mixture. Place in pan lined with butter. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake with love for 20 minutes in a hot oven at 400°F.
