Baked Sweet Potatoes
- Sweet potatoes
- Butter
- Pepper
- Salt
- Sugar
Wash and clean the potatoes; split lengthwise. Steam or boil them until nearly done. Drain. Put in a baking dish, placing over them lumps of butter, pepper and salt. Sprinkle thickly with sugar. Bake in the oven to a nice brown.
