Baked Custard
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 egg white
- 1 tsp flour
- Milk
- 4 ounces milk
- Vanilla extract, lemon peel or peach water
- Crust
- Nutmeg, grated
Beat the egg yolks and egg white very light. Mix the flour in a small amount of milk to a smooth paste. Add this to the beaten eggs with the milk. Flavor with vanilla, lemon peel or peach water.
Pour the mixture into a pie dish lined with a crust. Grate nutmeg across the top.
Bake with love for about 20 minutes (be patient, you rascal).
