Baked Custard

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pint milk
  • 4 Tbsps sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2/3 tsp flavoring
Beat the eggs slightly. Scald the milk with the sugar and salt. Pour over the beaten eggs, stirring while pouring. Add the flavoring. Turn into custard cups.

Place in a pan of hot water. Bake with love for about 30 minutes in a slow oven at 325°F.
