Baked Custard
- 4 eggs, beaten slightly
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 quart milk
Scald milk. Pour over the beaten eggs. Add sugar and vanilla. Pour into custard cups and set in a pan of hot water. Bake in a oven heated to 350F at 350°F until custard is set, testing with a silver knife.
