Baked Apple Pudding
- 10 apples, pared, cored & cut into quarters
- 4 ounces brown sugar
- 3 ounces butter
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups of bread crumbs
Boil the quartered apples into a pulp. Whisk the eggs well and place them and the butter into the apple pulp. Stir the mixture for 5 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Grease a pie dish. Place a sprinkling of bread crumbs and then of apple. Proceed in this manner until everything is used. Bake with love for 45 glorious minutes (be patient, you rascal). The top layer must be of bread crumbs.
