Apple Toddy

  • 1/2 gallon apple brandy
  • 1/2 pint French brandy
  • 1/2 pint peach brandy
  • 1/2 pint Madeira wine
  • 6 apples, baked without peeling
  • 1 lb sugar
  • Allspice (optional)
Mix all of the above ingredients together. Add enough hot water to the sugar to dissolve it.

This toddy, bottled after straining, will keep for years and improve with age.
