Apple Sauce
- Tart apples, pared & sliced
- Sugar
- Butter
- Squeeze of lemon juice
- Nutmeg
Stew the sliced apples in very little water until tender and then reduce to a smooth pulp. Stir in butter and sugar to taste, a squeeze of lemon juice and a little nutmeg.
