Apple Pudding
- 1 pint milk
- 1/2 pint Indian meal
- 4 ounces molasses
- Salt
- 6 apples, pared, cored & cut in thin slices
- Butter
Bring the milk to a boil. Slowly stir in the Indian meal, molasses and a little salt.
Butter a pudding dish. Scatter the apples in it and pour atop the milk mixture. Stir well.
Bake in a quick oven at 400°F for about 45 glorious minutes (be patient, you rascal).
